Egypt - Cairo's Museum, JW Marriott and the Kan Al Khalili Bazaar
If you only ever visit one museum in your lifetime it should be this one. The Egyptian Museum houses over 100,000 relics and antiquities from every period of in ancient Egypt’s history, including the treasures of Tutankhamen. There is so much to see here that some claim it would take almost a year to view every exhibit. From the old to the new! Here we make our way to Mirage City, a true oasis, a major residential development, the luxurious new JW Marriott Hotel and Peter Harridine designed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, in the sands of the desert. As the day ends we check out the shops and markets in the city heart – the most popular being the Kan Al Khalili Bazaar. The Kan Al Khalili is an incredible maze of streets and alleyways. The market was founded back in the 14th century and if you talk to a lot of the vendors here they will actually tell you that they are related to the founders of the market itself
